Terms & Policies

Release

In consideration of being permitted to participate in this event, I hereby for myself, my heirs, and personal representatives assume any all risks which might be associated with the event and further waive, release, discharge and covenant not to sue the owners, organizers, teachers, volunteers, contributors and beneficiaries or their successors and assigns for any and all injuries or damages of any kind whatsoever suffered by me as a result of taking part in the event, classes and/or any related activities. I also give permission for free use of my name and picture in any broadcast, telecast or other accounts of the event.

Policies

Class Cancellations: Art Space Lansdowne reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or a catastrophic event. If a class is cancelled, students will be notified as soon as possible and issued a full refund.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy: All refunds are subject to a $15 processing fee. There are no refunds for withdrawing from a class or workshop within five days of the first day of the class or workshop. There are no refunds or prorated tuition fees for missed classes.

Scholarships: Scholarships are available based on financial need. Please email your information and class request to info@artspacelansdowne.com.

Publicity Policy: Art Space Lansdowne reserves the right to use photos taken during classes and other events. Registration in a class gives Art Space Lansdowne permission to use that image without further consent or compensation.

Weather-Related Cancellations: Classes may be cancelled due to severe weather. In the event of a weather-related closing, a make-up class will be scheduled. Information will be posted on our website and students will be notified via email as soon as possible.

Student Property: Art Space Lansdowne is not responsible for artwork and other property left on the premises and has no liability is such property is lost, stolen or damaged, except in instances when artwork is displayed in gallery exhibitions and covered by insurance. Any artwork or property left two weeks after the class ends may be discarded.

Inclusion Statement: Art Space Lansdowne is committed to providing accessible educational opportunities in a supportive environment that promotes and fosters inclusion of people of all ages, abilities, and skill levels. If you believe that you will require any accommodations to enable you to participate in our programs, please contact us regarding this before you enroll, preferably at least two weeks prior to the start of a class or workshop.

Emergency Forms: Every child under the age of 18 is required to complete and submit a Child Emergency Form to the main office. Adult students 18 years and older are required to inform the main office if they have a medical condition that Art Space should be aware of in the case of emergency. Forms are kept on files for one year unless there are updates or changes. The form can be obtained from Art Space Lansdowne directly or may be downloaded here.
